Scorched is in the process in another round of edits. I am really excited about the kind of book that it is shaping up to be, though holding a paperback copy of the book in my hands will make it a reality for me. With that being said as much as I want to hold the paperback version in my hands I don't want to get giddy and rush out a lesser product.
Will there be some mistakes in in? Probably. Even some of the best self published books I have read have mistakes in them, but there is a difference between releasing a book with a few minor errors and releasing a bad book. Right now in the editing phase I am working on the pacing. I want readers to stay invested but I don't want to rush things along. I think I have a good balance so far. Once a few more rounds of editing are over I will send out paper back proofs to a few trusted people to further edit. I will update everyone when I can.
